About The Book

‘The Flying Saucer the Universe & the Meaning of Life’ is about the adventures of four friends in a small town in the mountains. Rii Hima Sepu and Newton are schoolmates whose normal and ordinary lives are upturned by strange events happening in their nondescript little valley. Their usual playful and normal days seem to be at an end because they can’t wrap their little heads around the bizarre things unfolding in the world around them - things that will change their lives forever. It all begins when hordes of large rats infest their beloved school and the teachers begin to behave strange and aloof they discover talking-termites in the forgotten library the headmaster has locked himself up in his room for days and a stranger keeps loitering about the school gate. It only gets weirder when the kids discover that Newton’s grandfather wrote a book almost thirty years ago of which no copies survive now. They realize that the book is probably the key to all these mysteries – it contains some secrets about rats and an old visit by an unknown flying saucer over their town all those years ago. This triggers the four curious young minds about endless possibilities to be explored. And the adventurous quest begins – where the kids desperately seek to reach the dark bottom of the mystery. And on the way while solving the strange riddle they shall learn a thing or two about science the world the universe and probably even something as mysterious as the meaning of life.
