Memory!  No better than an obstinate teenage girl! It does not care about time and space! It does not even care for (the) other’s wants and desires and arrives unannounced –as if it derives some kind of sadistic pleasure by torturing people with ruthless self-agony! Had it been possible to erase one’s memory as easily as the darkness of the night is completely erased with the touch of the sunlight Pallavi would have just erased the dark memory of her past and have dared to dream of a beautiful future! No –it was impossible for her to foster dream anymore at least in this life. And she realised that day when she had to confront the bitter reality of her life.  Indeed how merciless reality is and how helpless human beings are in front of it!
