The Forsyte Saga

The Forsyte Saga written by English novelist and playwright John Galsworthy who earned the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1932 is a collection of three novels and two interludes that was first published in 1922. The main characters of the book are prominent figures in a large commercial upper-middle-class English family much like Galsworthys own. It illustrates how love and money may ignite. A Modern Comedy which was written between the years of 1924 and 1928 is the second trilogy in the Forsyte Saga. This consists of the novels The White Monkey an interlude called A Silent Wooing The Silver Spoon another interlude called Passers By and Swan Song the third novel.
