<p>In 1931 the world was introduced to one of cinema's greatest monsters... The Frankenstein Monster. Universal's original <em>Frankenstein</em> film starring Boris Karloff as The Creature was a smash hit cementing the image of The Monster forever.</p><p><br></p><p>In 1969 following a final interview Boris Karloff dies in a London hospital at age 81 of pneumonia. A few days later the Los Angeles newspaper reporter who conducted that interview over the phone also dies except the reporter's death was... murder.</p><p><br></p><p>In 2011 eighty years after the premiere of the classic film a man runs from a roiling forest fire.
