Lord Krishna being the main char¬ismatic character mythological stories related to his life and the stories related to the Kuru dynasty of Pandavas and Kauravas have been discussed. What happened in the war and who was killed by whom are not the subject matter of this book. It is writ¬ten to highlight the circumstances and intentions of those at the helm of affairs. The gist of many old scripts reveals there were two cata¬strophic moves behind the great war one disrobing of Draupadi and the second playing game of Dice. Moreover because of jeal¬ousy greed and overconfidence of Duryodhan many warriors were insulted cows looted cities destroyed and at last both the branches of the Kuru clan were destroyed leading to the end of an era. The war devastated the human race and destroyed their knowledge base culture and everything of a sustained life.</br>It would be interesting to know that Lord Krishna was the one who took birth as an incarnation of Lord Vishnu to end the evil powers (Adharma) on the earth.
