The Ghost of Educating Anderson

Twelve-year-old Becky Stone survived being homeless for almost a year before meeting Chris Anderson but having lost his memory his usual lack of concern then changed to focus on improving her life. Accepted without alarm from his reasoning and matter-of-fact approach both gradually realise the presence of a shadow spirit showing occasional uncontrollable anger towards others with later concern to question if the spirit was also responsible for influencing some of those met during their journey of discovery. After the spirit raised intrigue with his revelation of having briefly visited the other side Becky's life becomes an adventure with the mystery of events becoming clearer as both eventually understand Chris' gradually returning memory being necessary for the path their lives will follow. From having avoided direct questions the spirit reveals a possible personal reason for his presence in their lives becoming apparent in an emotional conclusion.
