The Gift of Ar-Razzaq: Poems of Nature and Contemplation

<p><i>The Arabic word Razzaq linguistically has the structure of intensification indicating a complete way of providing and sustaining. Ar-Razzaq can be translated as The Provider in English. It is one of the 99 names of Allah. This book is a collection of 20 Islamic-themed poems that reflect on nature creation and the signs of Allah scattered across the heavens and the earth. From the stars in the night sky to the valleys seas deserts and mountains each poem draws upon Qur'anic imagery and Prophetic wisdom to remind the reader of their place in the world and their duty toward the Creator. This work seeks to revive the beauty of reflection (tadabbur). It is meant to inspire readers young and old to recognize the signs of Allah around us.</i></p>
