Born in Bay St. Louis Mississippi Fred Welch thought he led a normal life.<p> With his family he migrated along the coastline of Louisiana and Mississippi like a sea bird. He was educated by nuns at the Sisters of Mercy but they weren't all that merciful!<p> He watched his father grow obsessed with owning his own business. And he moved once again with the rest of his family to a neighborhood on the wrong side of the railroad tracks when that business failed.<p> There was the Great Chicken Caper trips to hot spots fishing young love sex and loss.
