<p>Emma Castellano never had much. A mother who left. A house that wasn't really hers. And a man who promised to keep her safe.</p><p>Thomas Wren was kind. He remembered her birthday brought her books made her feel seen in a way no one else did. He was the only adult she trusted-until the day he took her.</p><p>Now Emma wakes up in a cold windowless room some- where underground.
