The Glory of Christ and the Church

Church Discipline in our days and age even in the Church is understood as a dirty word an unloving word un-Christian not 'what Jesus would do' an offense. Yet we do not realize that by simply reading the Word of God we bring ourselves under the discipline the instruction of God and our Lord Jesus Christ which is the greatest blessing of all! Sadly however at times for the protection of the church the glory of Christ and protection of those who go astray the Word must be applied in a remedial way...to remedy an issue that threatens the Church her glory and purity and the glory of Christ she represents. Understanding the distinction between instructional and remedial discipline is vital to the life of the Church. With this Church Discipline is what the Church has fulfilled throughout her history.
