The Gods and the Game Changer

The Sovereign of Cosmos faces rebellion from the head of the armed forces. This pre-eminent soldier Hayes wants a change in order that the kingdom could live up to its full potential. Attempts at finding a solution to the impasse fails as the kingdom slides into a bitter civil war. The rebels were however vanquished and subsequently expelled from Cosmos. The King afterwards sends certain of his subjects to rule over Terrestrial the kingdom outpost. Following a campaign of calumny and subterfuge by Hayes the rulers of Terrestrial were themselves turned against the King. These failed rulers were to languish on a designated island. In an unexpected twist the king's heir volunteers to suffer in the place of the offending royal ambassadors who could then go on to fulfil their original destiny. Would these offenders appreciate the sacrifice of the Crown Prince?
