About The Book

L. M. Montgomery is a Canadian author best known for her 1913 book The Golden Road. The Tale Girl comes before this novel. Character Beverley who recalls his youth with his brother Felix and friends and cousins Felicity Cecily Dan Sara Stanley (the Story Girl) hired-boy Peter and neighbour Sara Ray serves as the focal point of the story. The kids had numerous adventures while playing in their familys orchard and even started their own newspaper named Our Magazine. This book features more character growth than its predecessor did and the reader can watch the kids mature especially as Sara Stanley leaves the Golden Road of youth for good. They can also observe the beginnings of Peter and Felicitys romance as their connection grows. Beverly and Sara Stanley also appear to be attracted to one another but this is not explored.
