The Goliath Code

<p><em>The GOLIATH CODE</em> reveals a biblical battle plan for spiritual warfare concealed in First Samuel 17 which we can use to overcome the giants that come against us. </p><p><br></p><p>David's victory over Goliath vividly demonstrates how we can conquer the spiritual giants that come against us. Giants that threaten to keep us from completing the work God created us to do or to drag us into bondage. <em>The GOLIATH CODE</em> reveals a biblical battle plan we can use to overcome them.</p><p><br></p><p>The title is an acrostic designed to help us remember and apply David's strategy.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>G</strong>:         Understand the <u>G</u>eography. The enemy is wedged between a hedge and a fence and can never cross the boundary of the blood. Christians however are in Christ the Ram the position of strength. </p><p><strong>O</strong>:         Recognize your <u>O</u>pponent. Learn to recognize spiritual giants. Don't waste time or ammunition on the shield bearers. </p><p><strong>L</strong>:          Use the right <u>L</u>abels. Never accept the labels Satan or the world tries to stick on you. You are who God says you are. </p><p><strong>I</strong>:           Be <u>I</u>ntrepid. Do not fear. Have confidence in God and in His Word</p><p><strong>A</strong>:          <u>A</u>im to please God. Keep your focus on the Lord and your mission. Ignore distractions. </p><p><strong>T</strong>:          Speak the <u>T</u>ruth. Counter the deceivers with the truth of God's Word and your own testimony.</p><p><strong>H</strong>:         Use the right <u>H</u>ardware. Put on the whole armor of God. Only spiritual armor is effective in spiritual warfare. </p><p><strong>C</strong>:          <u>C</u>onfess the Lord. Speak the Word. Call out Jesus' name. If you belong to God say so. </p><p><strong>O</strong>:         <u>O</u>vercome! If you are in Christ then you are an overcomer. Learn when to charge when to stand your ground and when to retreat</p><p><strong>D</strong>:         <u>D</u>emonstrate your faith. Discourage the enemy and encourage the army of God by showing them your faith by your works. </p><p><strong>E</strong>:          <u>E</u>ndure to the end. Keep your armor on until you hear the Lord say Come up here!
