The Goodnight Station

<p>On one eve awoke a man</p><p>With no single recollection</p><p>Of who he was or where he came from</p><p>Nor why he was laid upon a train's intersection.</p><p>He stood and looked about</p><p>To find the train tracks went a ways</p><p>Why he was here he did not know</p><p>And it gave his mind a daze.</p><p>So he followed them without yield</p><p>Ending up in a strange field</p><p>Where many sleeping bodies laid about.</p><p>And he soon found too</p><p>What was all much to do</p><p>A lone train's station which gave his mind doubt.</p><p>For it's purpose was to send sleepers</p><p>Off to their very dreams</p><p>But where they actually end up</p><p>He did not know and so it seems.</p><p>So when came a spot of fate</p><p>For this conductor as of late</p><p>He decided to get up and leave the station's booth.</p><p>Discovering much on his way there</p><p>Where it came to clean the air</p><p>As he learned for himself the inspid truth.</p><p>Where it is these dreamer's go</p><p>That much he wished not to know</p><p>For it all began as a job filled with peace.</p><p>And this mystery unraveled</p><p>As this conductor soon had traveled</p><p>Picking up every clue piece by piece.</p><p>And if you make a purchase</p><p>Let it be known through clarity</p><p>That each and every proceed</p><p>Is donated to charity!</p>
