<p><strong style=background-color: rgba(0 0 0 0); color: rgba(0 0 0 1)>1:1 Ἐν ἀρχῇ ἦν ὁ Λόγος καὶ ὁ Λόγος ἦν πρὸς τὸν Θεὸν καὶ Θεὸς ἦν ὁ Λόγος.</strong></p><p><span style=background-color: rgba(0 0 0 0); color: rgba(0 0 0 1)>1:1 In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God.</span></p><p><strong style=background-color: rgba(0 0 0 0); color: rgba(0 0 0 1)>1:2 Αυτός ην εν αρχή προς τον Θεόν.</strong></p><p><span style=background-color: rgba(0 0 0 0); color: rgba(0 0 0 1)>1:2 The same was in the beginning with God.</span></p><p><strong style=background-color: rgba(0 0 0 0); color: rgba(0 0 0 1)>1:3 Πάντα δι' αυτού εγένετο· και χωρίς αυτόν ουδέν εγένετο ότι εγένετο.</strong></p><p><span style=background-color: rgba(0 0 0 0); color: rgba(0 0 0 1)>1:3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.</span></p><p><strong style=background-color: rgba(0 0 0 0); color: rgba(0 0 0 1)>1:4 ἐν αὐτῷ ἦν ζωὴ καὶ ἡ ζωὴ ἦν τὸ φῶς τῶν ἀνθρώπων.</strong></p><p><span style=background-color: rgba(0 0 0 0); color: rgba(0 0 0 1)>1:4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men.</span></p><p><strong style=background-color: rgba(0 0 0 0); color: rgba(0 0 0 1)>1:5 Και το φως φέγγει εν τω σκότει και το σκότος δεν το κατάλαβε.</strong></p><p><span style=background-color: rgba(0 0 0 0); color: rgba(0 0 0 1)>1:5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.</span></p><p><strong style=background-color: rgba(0 0 0 0); color: rgba(0 0 0 1)>1:6 Ἦν ἄνδρας ἀπεσταλμένος ἀπό τόν Θεόν ὄνομα Ἰωάννης.</strong></p><p><span style=background-color: rgba(0 0 0 0); color: rgba(0 0 0 1)>1:6 There was a man sent from God whose name was John.</span></p><p><strong style=background-color: rgba(0 0 0 0); color: rgba(0 0 0 1)>1:7 ὁ δὲ αὐτὸς ἦλθεν εἰς μαρτυρίαν ἵνα μαρτυρήσῃ περὶ τοῦ φωτός ἵνα πιστεύσωσιν πάντες δι' αὐτοῦ.</strong></p><p><span style=background-color: rgba(0 0 0 0); color: rgba(0 0 0 1)>1:7 The same came for a witness to bear witness of the Light that all men through him might believe.</span></p><p><strong style=background-color: rgba(0 0 0 0); color: rgba(0 0 0 1)>1:8 Ὁ δὲ οὐκ ἦν αὐτὸς τὸ φῶς ἀλλὰ ἐστάλθη ἵνα μαρτυρήσῃ περὶ τοῦ φῶτος.</strong></p><p><span style=background-color: rgba(0 0 0 0); color: rgba(0 0 0 1)>1:8 He was not that Light but was sent to bear witness of that Light.</span></p><p></p>
