As Michael navigates life in Brooklyn during the 60s and 70s with his single mother you are eager to see where his moral compass and wits take him. To then have a key role in the plight of hundreds of minority businesses clamoring to break into large retail is the level of impact so many of us strive for. I particularly love the strong female characters along the way laced with spiritual depth.
