Dr. Md Intekhabur Rahman is a dedicated academic and researcher in Psychology currently serving as Professor and former Head of the Department of Psychology at Bhupendra Narayan Mandal University (BNMU) Madhepura Bihar. He also holds the position of Director Academic at the university. An alumnus of Aligarh Muslim University he has built a strong academic career at BNMU where he additionally serves as the Convener of the Minority Cell (appointed July 2024). His research covers Organizational Behaviour Health Psychology Cyber Psychology Clinical Psychology and Wellbeing with a focus on the psychological effects of social issues disasters and modern challenges such as sexting and climate change. He has authored numerous papers and presented work on topics like spirituality and women’s mental health. Alongside academia he maintains a deep connection with journalism Urdu literature and AMU-related issues. His poetry collection Breeze dedicated to his late wife Saba Rahman was recently published and reflects his emotional journey.
