<p>A buying trip to Brisbane for her arts and craft shop had</p><p>prompted Peta to visit friends Helen and </p><p>Nelson Young. Nelson being his bombastic bouyant self had talked her</p><p>into driving him to Tambo and although considerably out </p><p>of her way she had reluctantly agreed.</p><p><br></p><p>Now hour's later after dropping her friend off at his</p><p>destination she was stranded on the side of the highway</p><p>miles from anywhere and cursing the name of her friend.</p><p><br></p><p>Fate was about to step in however in the form of Beale </p><p>Jacobs; a fellow traveller on this lonely semi-deserted </p><p>highway. Peta's life was about to change forever.</p><p><br></p><p>Marry you! Peta echoed his words in stunned disbelief </p><p>wondering why a man as charismatic as Beale Jacobs would </p><p>ask a woman to marry him after such a short acquaintance.</p><p><br></p><p>Life in the bush would certainly be life changing. Would </p><p>Peta be able to handle it? She was a city girl knowing </p><p>nothing about country life let alone what happened on a </p><p>cattle station.</p><p><br></p><p>Peta felt there was an undeniable pull and her heart</p><p>strings were tuning up for the grand finale.
