Its the Roaring ‘20s and New York City is the place to be. Everything can be purchased everyone can be bought. But can you make money erase your past? As more and more people lose themselves to the lure of money ironically the only person who remains unaffected is Jay Gatsby the enigmatic host of the most extravagant parties. The Divers lead an idyllic life on the French Riviera in the late 1920s. Their parties are the talk of the town and everyone is much taken by their grace and sophistication. Their romance is equally enticing: Dick Diver a brilliant charming clinical psychologist is madly in love with Nicole the bewitching wealthy heiress who was once his patient. Behind the glamorous facade though trouble brews. Nicole’s wealth goads Dick into a lifestyle not his own and her growing strength highlights Dicks harrowing demise. Potential extramarital love interests complicate the situation further.
