Maintaining Professor Bao's signature style-marked by independent critical thinking and lucid prose-the translation vividly captures the ‌sage-like ethos‌ of the original illuminating the moral and philosophical grandeur intrinsic to these Confucian classics.</p><p></p><p>作者简介</p><p></p><p>Author Introduction</p><p></p><p>鲍鹏山，男，汉族，1963年3月1日生，安徽六安人。文学博士，作家，学者。上海开放大学人文学院教授，青海师范大学硕士研究生导师、上海交通大学兼职教授。中国作家协会会员、中国孔子基金会学术委员会委员。潜心研究先秦诸子数十年，长期从事中国古代文学研究。</p><p></p><p>Bao Pengshan (born March 1 1963 in Lu'an Anhui Province) of Han ethnicity is a Ph.D. in Literature author and scholar. He serves as a professor at the School of Humanities Shanghai Open University; a Master's Supervisor at Qinghai Normal University; and an Adjunct Professor at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. A member of the ‌China Writers Association‌ and the ‌Academic Committee of the China Confucius Foundation‌ he has dedicated decades to researching pre-Qin philosophers and pursuing long-term research in classical Chinese literature.</p>
