The Guard and the Princess

<p>Although she spoke quietly she made a loud noise as if to convince both herself and me. I think love will come in due course. My heart was thumping loudly and rapidly. I tried to slow it down so that the Princess wouldn't hear by taking a few deep breaths.</p><p><br></p><p>But what if it doesn't?</p><p><br></p><p>My inquiry appeared to float in midair.
