My city is torn by the strife of the Civil War and Martial Law. But beneath this war between men and states there is a deeper evil lurking in Baltimore. An evil that unless checked threatens to destroy ALL mankind.</p><p> </p><p>As a former physician I discovered my part to play in an eons-old battle between this world and creatures of the other-natural along with my friends and companions. <strong>Mare Adams</strong> a businesswoman and compassionate brothel owner thrust into the position of unwilling soldier on the front lines of this battle. <strong>Lucius Williamson</strong> the brilliant free Negro lawyer oppressed by the very society he now needs to defend is cursed with a supernatural ability called The Gift to see events others cannot.</p><p> </p><p>Together we will unite dedicated to eradicating this ancient evil threatening to destroy the city we call home.</p>
