The Hanging Tree

While home on vacation LA homicide detective Jack Winters aids local police by apprehending two con men suspected of committing murder. Shortly thereafter he stumbles upon a thirty-year-old coroner's report concerning his teen-age brother's death in 1972. Mystery abounds as he becomes suspicious of its questionable lack of content. As he delves into seeking the truth problems arise between him and his father. At the height of his investigation an outsider reveals a damaging secret from the past that could destroy their relationship forever. Can his father's sins be forgiven or are they inexcusable?
