The ghost of Miss May enlists Chance to help save the orphanage from the villainous Whipley Twins. The twins are up to no good; they intend to use the orphans as slave laborers in their bakery and laundry businesses. With ingenuity and a few ghostly tricks Chance the orphans and the resident ghosts win an exciting high stakes battle against the truly wicked Whipleys. This silver medal winner is a splendid read for both boys and girls inspiring some chuckles and cheers along the way.</span></p>
