The Healing Way

<p>Emma O'Hara never had luck with men. With a horrible man for a father and a cheat for a deceased husband she devoted her life to medicine as one of the first females to get her license to practice. She meets Douglas Fletcher on the stagecoach going to his home in Independence Missouri where he plans to set up a veterinarian practice. He saves them from bandits but with differing views concerning guns medicine and faith their relationship seems doomed from the start.</p><p><br></p><p>Can she convince him that females can be good doctors? Can he convince her that living on the outskirts of civilization requires a different mindset but faith in God is needed here more than ever?</p>
