The Heart Of Caregiving

This book is a personal recount of experience of being a care giver. This is a small step in reminding people that ‘Alzheimer” to our near and dear people can be handled with acceptance and care. ‘ Life is beautiful isn’t it? At least most of the times if not all the times.However there will be times when one forgets that life is beautiful with the pain around us the life situation may not be the best and in those times you may like to reach out to this book to remind yourself to look at the brighter side of the life with hope and great degree of acceptance. This book has my heart and the story of me taking care of my Father as Care giver who was down with Alzheimer and life looked very tough. But with some bit of acceptance love humour and loads of courage being a caregiver can be beautiful and can help each one of us to hold the power to change the situation gracefully.Pratima Jha who also calls herself as Passionate Pratima” is a family person with two wonderful children. After 25 years of being in the marriage she decided to pursue her dream of contributing back to the Society. She lives with the belief that ’Nothing is Impossible”. True to her belief she completed her Graduation in her middle age when everyone around her said it was too late. She later on went ahead and completed her Professional studies on Coaching Human Process work and completed her course on being a ‘Healing Therapist” She is now a certified CFT coach from ‘Leadership that works’. Her passion and work now is working with clients on a One-On-One basis using all her expertise to heal individuals. She also conducts workshop on “ Relationship with life and selves” Her hobbies include Travelling Cooking and listening to stories of others. Above all she loves spending time with self to introspect and reflect and work on her self. This is her second book and she wants to continue writing so that she can help others and give a voice to herself too.
