The Helpful Hand of God

In The Story An Advanced Alien Civilization Has Developed The Ability To Manipulate Matter At Will Essentially Giving Them God-Like Powers. They Use This Technology To Assist Less Advanced Civilizations Acting As Benevolent Overseers. However Their Interventions Often Have Unintended Consequences And They Struggle With The Ethical Implications Of Their Actions. The Protagonist Of The Story Is A Member Of This Alien Race Who Becomes Disillusioned With Their Role As Gods And Begins To Question The Morality Of Their Interventions. As They Witness The Suffering And Destruction Caused By Their Actions They Come To Realize That True Progress And Growth Can Only Come From Within Each Civilization Rather Than Being Imposed From Outside.
