The Heretic's Child

So no one is forgotten and no life goes unsung. Remember! Throughout history a long-lived race known as Rememberers has existed alongside the human race. Created to collect the memories of dying humans and preserve them Rememberers use the information to counsel the human race and help them avoid the mistakes of their past. Rememberers are overseen by a single woman the Cybele. For 25000 years a succession of Cybeles guided the human race towards peace and prosperity and then two thousand years ago the Cybeles began meeting with untimely ends. Without the Cybele Rememberers still collect human memories but they are unable to properly use the information to counsel the human race. The result has been in a horrific increase in chaos and war. In 1783 a Rememberer named Emma is born. Her mother warns that the child is in danger but dies before giving a name to the menace. Destined to become the next Cybele Emma must discover who is killing the Cybeles or become the next fatality!
