He is caught between two worlds the traditional ways of his Sioux heritage and the encroaching modernity of the American frontier.As the story unfolds Johnny becomes embroiled in conflicts and challenges that test his loyalties and values. The novel explores themes such as identity cultural heritage and the clash between the old ways and the new in the rapidly changing West.B.M.
