The Hidden Academy

<p><strong style=color: rgba(15 17 17 1)>A kingdom where magic is outlawed a tyrant King hidden magical academies an oppressed population.</strong></p><p><br></p><p><span style=color: rgba(15 17 17 1)>When King Cedric died at the hands of a group of mages his son the then Prince Roderick took the reins of the kingdom and with his first decree banned all magic and magic users from Avondale.</span></p><p><br></p><p><span style=color: rgba(15 17 17 1)>Magic is not picky with who it selects however. Anyone can have any kind of mana awaken within them at any time from Gaia's Grace - the earth mana to the Eternal Flame - fire mana. And when that mana is awakened its presence is telegraphed by a distinctive glow in the individual's eyes. So the Royal Guard and soldiers of Avondale became well known for their one fear inspiring order: 'Open Your Eyes'.</span></p><p><br></p><p><strong style=color: rgba(15 17 17 1)>Book 1: </strong></p><p><br></p><p><span style=color: rgba(15 17 17 1)>Elara had never known magic. She and her family had lived a peaceful and quiet life on their small farm. Of course life was difficult; the King took most of what they produced and they often had to go without just to pay the high taxes that the crown ordered. But she had everything she could have ever asked for in her mother and father.</span></p><p><span style=color: rgba(15 17 17 1)>That would all come to a halt though when the city's soldiers would ask for too much from Elara's family.</span></p><p><span style=color: rgba(15 17 17 1)>With her new power Gaia's Grace Elara must evade capture and find help wherever she can in order to keep from the clutches of the King and his army.</span></p><p><span style=color: rgba(15 17 17 1)>New friends new enemies and an oppressive regime to struggle against join Elara as she discovers the Hidden Academy and learns to wield her new powers for the good of the people.</span></p><p><br></p><p><strong style=color: rgba(15 17 17 1)>A Young Adult Fantasy set in the fictional kingdom of Avondale.</strong></p>
