This Book focuses on Nigerian Military School in Zaria. The Nigerian Military School Zaria was founded on 20th 1954 as Boy''s company under the administrative guidance of the Nigerian Regimental Training Centre but now is referred to as Depot Nigerian Army Zaria. The first officer commanding the .company was Capt (later Lt Col) W. U Bassey. The original aim of the schools was to enroll interested sons of serving soldiers of not less than 14 years of age into military life and so to inculcate a family tradition into the force. In line with this aim therefore the first batch of thirty boys (known as the first Platoon) that were admitted into the school consist mainly sons of serving soldiers. This book will be useful to Scholars and Students in Nigeria and abroad.
