The second part of the monograph examines the basic patterns of functioning of modern society. It is dominated by the capitalist mode of reproduction. The factors that have determined the formation of globalisation as well as the main regularities of the functioning and development of the world economy in particular the virtualisation of the human community''s life activity are explored. Economic crises of global capitalism are considered in detail. Particular attention is paid to the process of stratification of capitalist society. The book contains a critical assessment of various concepts claiming to be scientific analysis of the phenomena in the sphere of capitalist economy.
