Hope and the Healing

The Hope and the Healing is a collection of poetry from both named and anonymous authors written by people who have experienced sexual violence and assault firsthand. These raw and true uncensored retellings are separated into two sections: Healing which focuses on the trauma and pain of their experiences; and Hoping which focuses on recovery and hope. The final section of the book is a resource and support bank for sexual violence survivors in Manitoba and across Canada. <br /><br />This poetry collection offers a reminder to survivors that they are not alone in anything they've felt or the trauma they've endured. There are others who have been through this painful healing process and are waiting for them with open arms.<br /><br />All profits from the sales of The Hope and the Healing are donated to non-profit organizations focused on sexual violence prevention and the support of survivors.
