My grandmother's home once the backdrop for summers filled with love laughter and endless peach cobbler now feels like a time capsule filled with memories I've tried to leave behind. And then there's Jake-the annoyingly charming handyman who's far too interested in both my plans and my reluctance to face the past. Between the nosy neighbors the family secrets buried under the floorboards and a house that seems determined to make me remember everything I've spent years trying to forget I'm quickly realizing that maybe just maybe coming back wasn't about selling a house after all.
