The Humanistic Communication Approach to College English Teaching

Language is interwoven with so many facets of human life. There is no exception in higher education as well especially in the field of EFL teaching. The needs and goals of learners are so diverse that it is impossible for teachers to find a one-best-method forever to solve every problem in all situations. However it cannot be denied that the teaching and learning efficiency will be improved if teachers and learners are on the same side of the fence with the proper pedagogy—the humanistic communication approach.
