The poems are both heartfelt and absurd particular and universal. They both describe and embody the deep weirdness of suddenly arriving on the strange planet that is parenthood where the socks will never match the hours both race and stall and a kind of unhinged love sets up shop at the center of one's self changing us for better for worse forever.</span></p><p></p><p></p>
