<p>Floordogs</p><p>the evening filled with breathable drops</p><p>and we the two of us</p><p>in this lone partnership on this veering craft</p><p>helmless stone-walled</p><p>at least now there's a veil</p><p>softening us and the bathwater</p><p>you first then me soaping myself in your aftermath</p><p>opening our pores shaking off the drops</p><p>and we are almost almost able to look about</p><p>the way dogs who know each other simply look</p><p>here's a dog there's another one scratching its belly</p><p>with a hind paw lying on the floor getting up</p><p>to be nearer to another dog also lying on the floor</p><p></p><p></p>
