The I Professor

About The Book

The purpose of this book is to ponder the behaviour of the university professor based on the existentialist philosophy of Sören Aabye Kierkegaard a Danish philosopher (1813-1855). Critical reflections have been made on inappropriate teaching postures - if transforming the student is the teacher''s role at the same time as the teacher transforms himself this book makes reference to the possible consequences that restrict the educational process when the teacher chooses not to know himself living only tied to ineffective content or didactic formulations that do not reflect the student''s desires. The teacher who insists on a didactically bankrupt model without reflecting on possible harmfulness flees from fruitful contact with himself and thus tends to form an equally empty repetitive and unproductive student body. So it remains for those who struggle for a transformative education to plunge into the depths of themselves in order to reappear as a model of a teacher who understands the moment of one''s own experience that is to understand oneself in order to understand another.
