THE IMPACT OF EUROPEANIZATION ON TURKISH FOREIGN POLICY

A considerable interest has recently emerged inanalysing the EU impact on Turkey's democratizationprocess human rights and minority issues. Yet fewstudies exist with regard to the EU impact on Turkishforeign policy. This book therefore provides readerwith a useful framework to understand major changesin Turkish foreign policy with a specific referenceto the Europeanization impact on Turkish foreignpolicy. The EU conditionality mechanism was mainlyemployed as a method of examination to identify howsome of Turkey's foreign policy issues have beenreconstructed under the EU influence.
