The Impact of Family Therapy on Social Behavior

Sickle cell anemia is a kind of anemia in which there are not enough red blood cells to carry oxygen throughout the body. Normally the flexible and round red cells move easily through the blood vessels. In sickle cell anemia the red blood cells become rigid with a sickle-like shape. These cells can get stuck in small blood vessels irregularly which can slow or block flow and oxygen to parts of the body.
