The importance of music in the Infant Education stage

Throughout this book the importance of music in the child''s development will be discussed. In order to do this we have to take into account the characteristics of the student both evolutionary and musical. From these a series of methods of different authors will be developed and the benefits that music brings in the cognitive linguistic psychomotor and emotional fields will be detailed giving great importance to its interdisciplinary character which makes it even more motivating and interesting for the students and gives more richness to the teaching-learning process. Finally we will detail a series of activities that will allow us to work and develop Music at this stage while we work on aspects related to personal autonomy and the environment.
