The importance of the multi-professional team in primary care

The article in this book is the result of an integrative literature review and contains information about multiprofessional work within the Family Health Strategy (ESF) as a tool adopted to guarantee comprehensive care for primary care users. Studies carried out with ESF professionals managers and users were used. A number of charts and tables are available containing the main data in relation to the problems faced by multi-professional teams and the contributions of the effective work of these teams to improving the health conditions of individuals and the community.
