Their home was the hub of the community where children and teenagers came to play talk swim and eat! As a working mom Debbie sought unique ways to connect with her children. Dad often read bedtime stories but the youngsters especially loved mom's fantastical tales. The kids were often left with a cliff hanger and needed to wait until the next night to find out the ending (often because mom hadn't come up with it yet!) When the grandchildren came along their parents insisted the stories be retold. The grandchildren now look forward to another generation hearing the same tales.
