About the Author: Alaana is a student of Economics and Finance at Ashoka University hailing from a highly academic background where intellectual curiosity has always been a driving force in her journey. While academics have always been her primary focus her deep-rooted passion for food and photography inspired her to pursue this creative endeavor. Growing up in Delhi in a family deeply connected to the culinary worldher mother runs a home bakery and her father owned a caf in Manalishe developed an early love for cooking. In 2016 she began documenting her culinary dreams envisioning her own kitchen and caf. With a DSLR in hand she traveled across India capturing the essence of its diverse cuisine. This book is the culmination of her passion seamlessly blending storytelling photography and food. Through it she hopes to showcase the richness of Indian cuisine while inspiring others to embrace their creative pursuits alongside their chosen paths.
