The influence of crawling on learning to read

About The Book

This study aims to determine the relationship between crawling and reading in order to provide information to teachers and families. This study is based on Neuropsychology as a line of research and its relationship with the different visual skills. The theoretical foundation is based on the contributions that classical theorists such as Piaget (1983) Gesell (1958) Bruner (1998) have made to psychomotor development and how it is related to the acquisition of reading. Likewise it was also necessary to consider some current international and national studies that address this topic. Specifically those referring to the crawling-reading relationship. As for the methodology used to carry out the study the historical and logical analysis method was used; it is a descriptive study of documentary design. Once the bibliographic data had been collected it was concluded that stimulating infants to crawl benefits reading and writing skills.
