Instructional leadership was recognized as the most important factor in enhancing and improving school’s achievement as well as student’s performance since the nineteenth century. Nevertheless there is still a lot of mystery in the art of role-playing by instructional leaders. Principals nowadays are found to be concern only in administrative tasks but not in the quality of teaching. Furthermore they do not provide necessary coaching and mentoring for their teachers regarding teaching pedagogies. The main concern of this study is to investigate the influence of principal instructional leadership roles on teachers’ creative pedagogy in primary schools of Kuala Pilah. The first chapter briefly defined the meaning of principal instructional leadership roles and teachers’ creative pedagogy. Moreover problem statement had to be stated clearly in order to define the challenges faced in principal instructional leadership roles as well as in teachers’ creative pedagogy. Conceptual framework of this study comprised of the combination of Principal Instructional Management Rating Scale (PIMRS) by Hallinger and Creative Pedagogy Framework by Lin.
