Social networks are embedded in the new cultural concept of contemporary society. This book seeks to demystify and identify the benefits and harms of using social networks for a company's internal communication. In this work the object of study is the influence of social networks on the behavior of employees in the Avenida Paulista region in the workplace seeking to identify which processes benefit from this technological development and what the main challenges are with a theoretical foundation based on the use of social networks and internet technologies as a means of communication. With this research we hope to provide the corporate environment with a broader view of the use of social media to improve the development of its employees as well as increasing productivity and professional engagement given that people nowadays have intense habits linked to connectivity which need to be worked on in search of a collaborative and competitive work environment.
