He fondly remembers Christmas plays at church singing in school choirs during winter concerts family gatherings on Christmas Eve and decorating Christmas Tree Lane in Altadena CA where he graduated from John Muir High School and Fuller Seminary. As a pastor he enjoyed writing annual Christmas musicals for children with his favorite being The Innkeeper's Daughter which inspired the It Started On Christmas Series.  A former Director of Congregational Development at Discipleship Ministries in Nashville TN he is the author of <em>Boomer Spirituality</em> <em>iKids: Parenting in the Digital Ag</em>e and Share Your Memories Mom.
