The Innocent Molester

<p><b>The Innocent Molester</b> is a true story based upon five years in the life of an African-American inner-city high school teacher falsely accused of sexually violating a sixteen year old child. It follows her early days of teaching within the institution and provides a chronological record of events leading up <i>to</i> and beyond the trial.</p><p>This book is multi-faceted in that it addresses not only the devastating ramifications of being labeled a 'pedophile' in a world where the word has disturbingly become commonplace but speaks to the stigma attached to the teaching profession as a result of same. In addition the story attempts shedding light on the corruption within our judicial system and ultimately its failure to enforce the rights of the accused <i>and</i> the victim - which in rare cases may turn out to be the same person.</p>
