About the Book: A collection of short stories mostly inspired by true incidents. The stories cover a wide spectrum of the common traits of human nature such as the spirit of adventure curiosity for the supernatural stinging feeling of guilt close friendship nostalgia for the past selfishness jealousy courage attachment and the like. The collection also has stories from the bygone era of the fifties and the sixties inspired by those unique times. The author had traveled extensively to different corners of the country and witnessed unusual incidents at remote places which greatly enriched him with material for spinning lively and offbeat tales in this collection. The mundane the supernatural the old belief systems and the times of a schoolboy during the early sixties all find a place in this collection. About the Author: Shri Apendu Ganguly is a retired civil servant. Born on the 15th of March 1957 in Jodhpur he has a MA in Economics from Gujarat University and a BA(Honors) in Economics from Delhi University. He retired as Director from the Armed Forces Headquarters Civil Service. Personnel Management has been his area of core competency.
